Gamepal Inc. Steals several thousands of dollars and doesn't reply

Gamepal hasn't answered any of their listed (and unlisted) phone numbers. I have tried the manager's personal, professional, the companies phone in raleigh, the companies phone in michigan, and the CEO's professional phone number, and all are blocking incomining calls (the calls are hung up on the second ring) I had a conversation recently with "Justin"
You have been connected to Justin .
Customer: What's up with Gamepal? Not answering any phones? or emails?
Justin : Hello, thank you for contacting Gamepal. For which game would you like to purchase currency?
Customer: Scamming me out of $400?
Customer: I've contacted the BBB, and if I don't get my money soon, i'll be sueing.
Justin : Please be advised that our department only handles currency-related inquiries and is entirely a different entity from accounts. You may direct your account-related inquiries to accounts@gamepal.com.
Customer: Yeah
Customer: If I email accounts@gamepal
Customer: i'll be ignored for another two month.s
Customer: You're the only person I can reach, and cant tell me because your "a different entity" or some of that bullcrap
Customer: and no response.
Justin : As much as I would like to assist you, I don't have access to your records. My system only allows me to give information on stock levels and other currency pre-sales inquiries.
Customer: So, you don't even know what's going on?
Customer: I've looked it up, and there are SEVERAL reports of the same type of incidents
Customer: I've called probably ten different numbers, included the manager
Customer: and all are hung up upon
Customer: that's a real offense. Thousands of dollars stolen.
Customer: Are there any honest business men at your company?
Customer: I'm sure you're next to someone right now that could be helpful, possibly a manager
Justin : Currently, no one is available.
Customer: Just like yesterday, and two days ago, and a month ago, and two months ago.
Justin : Our department won't be able to address Accounts-related issues.
Customer: What your company is doing is illegal, and fraud.
Customer: Just to let you know, not necesarily me, but several people have contacted the FBI, and they're coming.
Justin : Is there any currency-related concerns I can assist you with?
Customer: Nope.
Customer: Can you help me?
Customer: Or just like the rest of em
Justin : As I mentioned earlier, our department can't assist issues related to accounts.
Customer: What is the gamepal company up to
Customer: I mean, seriously.
Customer: I obviously don't want you to get fired over this conversation, but
Customer: WTF
Customer: Fuckin stealing $400 from a kid
Justin : Our department only handles currency-related inquiries and is entirely a different entity from accounts.
Justin : Therefore, we are unable to assist you.
Customer: Can you tell me anything helpful?
Customer: Other than your programmed responses about entities?
Justin : Is there any currency-related concerns I can assist you with?
Customer: Yes.
Customer: Currency, yes.
Customer: $400 dollars stolen.
Customer: Fix it.
Justin : It's been a pleasure chatting with you. Have a great day!

Dismissing me, nice.
There are several reports about accounts stolen, and on the Better Businesses Bureau's website, they received an F.

Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of F.

Reasons for this rating include:
  • Number of complaints filed against business.
  • Failure to respond to complaints filed against business.
  • Number of complaints filed against business that were not resolved.
  • Overall complaint history with BBB.
  • BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business.
So good going Gamepal, lets see what else you've screwed up.

Complaintsboard.com has several gamepal fraud reports.

One person said this "I submitted my account for selling on that website on April 18th, and STILL have not received payment. Those mother fukers went into my account and changed the password and contact email, and therefor, i am locked out of my account. again, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED PAYMENT AFTER A MONTH!!! "

And another, "I sold a World of Warcraft account to GamePal.com several years ago. I have just received a letter from a collection agency stating that I changed the password and they are demanding several thousand dollars. I clearly did not change the password. This is a blatant scam and the matter is now in the hands of my attorney."

So these guys are up to no good. and To be honest, I don't really appreciate losing what I spent months on and then sold so that I could pay off the price of the actual game and come out with a profit.
